Upgrading: Transformation of a Microfinance Project into a Microfinance Bank

From 1997 to 2007, LFS managed the transformation of a microfinance project in Mozambique into a non-bank financial institution. In a second step, it was transformed into a microfinance bank. From 2005 to 2007, LFS managed the bank under a Management Service Contract. When our management team left the bank, it was the second largest and most profitable mircofinance insititution in Mozambique.
